A quick google indicates that O’Donnell has not yet secured Irish citizenship (Wikipedia says she is pursuing it based on descent). And we all know that it would be for political reasons because O’Donnell has been very public about her opposition to Trump.

Trump’s SOP is to create new distractions every few days to divert attention from whatever the last shit thing is. The Epstein file fiasco seems to have fired up a lot of MAGAs against him. What’s the distraction(s) going to be this time? Trump might have to up his game if the Epstein thing doesn’t die down quickly enough for him because it’s pissing off some of his base and not the libs. Maybe cut off Ukraine completely? Bomb Iran again? Something stupid in Gaza? Saying the US is annexing Greenland? Take your pick. Trump only gives a shit about how actions affect him personally, not any real-world damage he may cause.
Well, there’s always the ever-popular tariff thingie.
