Oh yeah, even better. I revise my vote.

Selma Blair?
Naww, also too “quirky.”
…but she turns 35 this year. She looks terrific but maybe a little old for the young princess Diana. Need someone who can pull off early-twenties - 25 tops - I think. Sigh.
Bring me a bucket!
Bah. I would go with Gina Torres. Wonder Woman should be tall, eh? And, hey, she’s brunetter than any of those girls.
I’m really not kidding. There were more tales of ancient Amazons coming from Africa than from the Black Sea, so a Wondy of part-African descent is not that strange.
I vote for Laura Prepon, provided the movie is written in such a way that we (and the title character herself) aren’t supposed to take her too seriously.
I have no problem with that in itself, but if they have any intention of following the comic book, it won’t work. And they’re making a movie of Wonder Woman, the DC Comics superheroine in the familiar costume, known and loved across the world, not generic kick-ass Amazon warrior. Let’s face it: all the GOOD comic book movies have mostly followed the comics, or at least cast actors who look like the characters: Spider-Man 1/2, X-Men 1/2, Batman Begins, Sin City, The Rocketeer, Hellboy, Road To Perdition, Ghost World, and for the most part, Superman 1/2.
There’s some Black Amazons in the comic, too.
However, let’s face it, they pretty much have to cast someone who looks at least something like this. Not necessarily exactly, but if she wears a wig and you squint, a passable resemblance. Wonder Woman’s too well-known (in appearance at least) for Whedon et al to throw that away.
It’s a tall order. We want someone who’s physically impressive, who could plausibly kick any man’s ass even without superpowers. But we also want someone who empitimizes feminine grace and classical beauty. And can act.
Yeesh. I don’t envy Whedon on this one.
Watch them do something stupid, like casting Jessica Simpson. Ponder that for a moment, if you will.
The good news is that Christopher Reeve was an unknown when cast to play Superman, and newcomer Brandon Routh was as well. Whedon will most definitely go with an unknown, and he’ll save himself a lot of grief by doing so.
Well, Angie Harmon would be pretty good. In think she could pull off the action side too.
Presuming the movie is based on the current version, not the Silver Age one, Wonder Woman doesn’t HAVE a secret identity.
She is Princess Diana of Themyscira, until recently the Themysciran ambassador, all the time.
And she works better that way, I think.

It hurts to say. but Demi Moore did do a good job in GI Jane…
I would still want to try Jennifer Connely in an audition first though.
If we can’t get Stacey Williams, how about a young Lynda Carter?
No votes for Catherine Zeta-Jones? I’ll nominate her.
You’re leaving out CONSTANTINE!!!
Well, if not Camryn Manheim, how about Debi Mazar?
