There’s a small “natural foods” market in my city, and I go there sometimes. This evening, I saw a brand of yogurt I’d never heard of, nor had I heard of yogurt with these flavors: beet, butternut squash, and sweet potato.
Those don’t even sound good. No, I didn’t buy any.
Sweet potato yogurt would be awesome.
There’s a seasonal pumpkin yogurt and it’s really good.
I think any or all of those would be good. Roasted beets with fresh yogurt and pistachios is a favorite side dish of mine
I got piña colada yogurt a couple of weeks ago. Now I can’t find it anywhere.
Wow, that’s weird. I’m in the Seattle area, and is see it every week in Safeway or Fred Meyers - and not one of the wealthy locations.
I had an Australian strawberry rhubarb yogurt a couple weeks ago that was great.
Update: These flavors didn’t seem to last very long. I bought a couple of them when they became short-dated and were marked down; they were OK but not something I would have bought again.
Lesson learned by the company, I guess. :o
We’ve got good produce providers here at our local chain (HEB in Texas).
I usually buy plain (vanilla) flavored yogurt and then get whatever is in season (tonight I bought CA strawberries and TX blueberries). I prep and then freeze them and mix them up with milk and various juices.
Makes great smoothies. And tasty. As long as I don’t mix too many flavors it usually turns out pretty good.
Thanks Be to Bob for a blender that still works.
I’m still waiting for Pecan Pie yogurt. How long is it gonna’ take???
