Not that I share a whole lot of my personal life on the board, but just to keep you informed about things that might be affecting what you see of me here on the board …

There’s an fair to average chance that I’ll be moving out of the house sometime in the coming year. The chances are about the same that I may be going through a divorce. I can’t really talk about the reasons why at this point, but the kids won’t be hurt, and if it does happen, it will be amicable.

This shouldn’t affect things too much as far as my moderating, but there’s a lot happening here on the home front. Stay tuned.

You might be interested to know you’re not alone. I am going through much the same thing, except in a much shorter timeframe. Keep your chin up, cause once it starts to droop, it’s mighty heavy to lift again.

As someone who recently came out the other side, I can tell you that yes, it does suck, but I am now happier than I have been in a long, long time. Past year was tough, but life totally rocks now, the world is MY oyster. Hang in there man.

Divorce/seperation, even when it’s amicable, is never a pleasant thing to deal with. It’s even more difficult with children.
