The R. Kelly look was a bad choice.
So, this is a preview for the 2028 Opening Ceremony, right?
Now we know how Mozart felt when he heard Haydn’s music.
I’ve never heard any* of these songs, but I have to say…this is a really excellent half-time show. I think I kind of like that they are clearly doing this live(no lip-sync) and you can really see and hear them really clearly. I am honestly impressed.
Yeah, who was that? I had it muted part of the time, but…it was disturbing. I immediately thought it was R. Kelly, but knew it couldn’t be.
*I did know the “lose yourself” song from Eminem. He was really good! I’ve never heard him live in my life.
I don’t get it?
Much better than I expected. Again, not really a comment on the people, but prior experience with lots of halftime shows. I’m honestly surprised they could get that many different performances into a single show and have it work.
Well, Bengals sure didn’t come out flat after that long halftime.
And it’s well and truly dead.
For a second there on the first touchdown pass of the third quarter, it looked to me as if Burrow had run past the line of scrimmage.
17-13, Bengals.
ETA: Oooh, receiver grabbed the face mask and it wasn’t called.
Jesus, Higgins practically rips off Ramsey’s helmet and no call. They’re certainly let em play.
If there was every any question if the refs would be a big story once again, it’s gone now.
Bengals picked it off!
Two interceptions on Stafford, and I feel like he doesn’t really deserve either.
The second not really, but I can’t fathom any excuse for the first. He told the WR to adjust his route stupidly and then badly underthrew it.
Well, the first is more the effect. More of an arm punt.
And late. His first int was all him. And the second one wouldn’t have been picked if it was more accurate and he didnt make the receiver reach. But not totally his fault. Throws like that separate the good (Stafford) from the great (Brady, Rodgers, Manning)
It was 3rd down, not 4th. Why are we pretending that he couldn’t have made a better decision and converted that or gotten in FG range? He was on the 43 yard line, just getting 10 yards makes it a pretty easy kick.
The whole playing not to lose assures that things like one bad call can change the outcome of the game.
It was on him both because of the throw and the instruction to change the route mid-play. He rolled 2 bonehead mistakes into one play.
Love the shot of Mike Brown, sitting all alone and looking like a goober.
