Giants getting rolled, about like you would expect. The announcers did mention something interesting: they’ve committed to change the field at MetLife to a different surface starting next year. Hopefully the Giants stop getting brutally injured every year.
Well, they’re within 13 points with 5 minutes left in the third. If they could get a stop…
Speaking of which, Houston just stopped Dallas on 4th and goal from the 1. The Texans maintain a 20-17 lead.
I need to move to a different state with a better team.
The Cowboys somehow pull it out. That game might have taken years off my life. If they play like that against the Eagles in two weeks, they are going to get trucked by 30 points. McCarthy better get to work.
And the bookies looks smart. Go Lions! @Hamlet, hope you didn’t run too fast to the sports book.
12-1!!! 12-1!!!

I’m glad the Cowboys pulled it out but boy we played like crap. The game by all rights should have ended with the Texans winning by a score of 30-20. Looks like we still won’t get past the divisional playoffs.
The Eagles seemingly never lose against the Giants. They must be something like 30-6 against New York in recent decades or something.
If you play the Vikings you’re good to go.
F the officials in this Seattle/Carolina game. They are doing all they can to help the Panthers. It’s getting to be unwatchable.
Lions looked like they were going to shoot themselves in the collective foot with penalties in the early going, but got a grip on things and took care of the Vikings pretty convincingly. Last four games look very winnable!
Terrace Marshall’s balls caught a 17 yard pass
Tom Brady needs to retire now. As in, right this minute.
I was thinking, last year.
My kids don’t need holiday presents this year.
My memory is that the Giants largely owned the Eagles until the Donovan McNabb / Andy Reid era, and then the Eagles have owned the Giants ever since.
Near as I can figure, Mahomes and Spagnuolo decided that they didn’t want CBS to switch away to a more competitive game, so they turned a 27-0 blowout into a competitive nail-biter.
Maybe I’m just being a homer but I thought KC was on the wrong end of a couple of bad calls in that game. There was a PI call where it looked to me like the receiver turned into the defender and then tripped over his own feet. And Mahomes’ second INT that was first ruled incomplete then overturned, I could swear on the replay I could see a little puff of dust in front of the defender’s hand as the ball hit the ground. It did NOT look like he had his hand under it. Oh well, Chiefs pulled out the win anyway.
You are certainly correct on the DPI call. And that was on a 4th down play, and it ended up being a 40 yard penalty which directly led to a touchdown.
I thought, however, that the second interception was a proper overturn of the call of the pass originally ruled incomplete.
But a win is a win. That’s now 14 consecutive victories by the Chiefs over the Broncos.
Delighted to see the Cleveland Rape Apologists lose with Watson under center, looking rusty and slow. Also happy to see the Steelers lose. Mitch Trubisky got confused and thought he still played for the Bears. I’d love to see the Lions make a run at the playoffs and play spoiler for someone. And the Bucs continue to look hapless - Giselle was right about retirement for Tom.
Now I get to brace myself for the Patriots to embarrass themselves in prime time again. Get ready for predictable play calling, offensive line penalties, so many three-and-outs, and a complete inability to tackle the scrambling Kyler Murray. (What is it about his running style that annoys me so much??)
