The Bears blogs have had Arthur Brown as the consensus favorite of the LBs, but everyone figured he’d be there in the 2nd round. I see now that NFL.com has Brown ranked at the top of the LB class, so maybe he’ll be the pick.

I like Reid’s size, speed, strength, aggression. All around he should be great, but I’m scared at how much he dropped off when his good cornerbacks left.
At least the trade-up didn’t cost too much, just the 74 Third Rounder.
No strong opinion on Reid but I’m practically certain he’d have lasted until their pick at 32, the trade up was a waste.
It’s weird, I swear that NLFN and ESPN always go to a commercial when the Bears pick is in. Really spoils the tension for me.

Michigan State and Michigan go head to head to get the best talent in Michigan and they have the upper hand. Then you have other B1G schools running around the state to get talent while Notre Dame will snag guys.
After all is said and done, a guy from Central Michigan, a second tier conference, not only goes in the first round, but is the #1 overall pick. How did he slip under the radar?
