I think he’d be a good fit for the Saints, who are desperate for some outside pass rush help. With the move to the 3-4 this year, Mingo could have really made an impact.

It’s a little interesting that the Bears went with a big, oversized athletic OG while the Lions and Vikings grabbed inside pass rushers. It’s an arms race, hope Long develops faster than Ansah or Floyd.
I am really starting to think the Packers will go for Patterson or Lacy.

The draft isn’t even remotely exciting for me. If it’s a world-changing pick I knew about it months ago, and at 17 it’s not a world-changing pick.
That said, Jarvis Jones is a good pick and a good fit. Throwing out the usual useless platitude now, I expect big things from him, which in draftspeak means that if he does anything he’s a good pick. The goal of the draft isn’t so much getting a Hall of Famer as avoiding a Ryan Leaf.
Off to watch game tape on Datone Jones. Seems like OK value.

I feel better about the pick after seeing what Minny and the Cheesedicks did. Can’t afford to hope Carimi and Brown develop into studs if either Jones or Floyd are good.
What the hell are the Patriots doing? Do they hate high draft choices or something? Justin Hunter would have been amazing for the Pats.
