Well, I was right about the evening-up part. That scoop-and-run by Marshawn Lynch on Wilson’s fumble was amazing.
It’s kinda weird seeing Lewis retire. He was definitely an obstruction to opposing offenses, and a terror the way he knifed through the offensive line to get to the QB.
He was certainly a cut above the rest. His career will be an important slice of NFL history.
I wonder if he’ll take a stab at a new career?

Tell me about it. I was in the Baylor Bookstore in November on a visit. It was really weird seeing a store in Waco, TX filled with Redskins hats and jerseys. Strange seeing the Redskins QB’s face plastered up on dozens of billboards on I-35. Bizarro world.

When he hobbled towards the sidelines on that run on his second-to-last possession, it was clear that he already shouldn’t have been in there.
But they left him in anyway, and his knee fell apart on that last play, all by itself.
