Rooting for the Seahawks, but also rooting for Pete Carroll to have a heart attack.
Hawks not looking like a play-off team today.
Senators 2.0, but I know what you meant.
All Washington teams have been known informally as the Nats.
Well, I was right about the evening-up part. That scoop-and-run by Marshawn Lynch on Wilson’s fumble was amazing.
It’s kinda weird seeing Lewis retire. He was definitely an obstruction to opposing offenses, and a terror the way he knifed through the offensive line to get to the QB.
He was certainly a cut above the rest. His career will be an important slice of NFL history.
I wonder if he’ll take a stab at a new career?
Having grown up with the Cowboys but also the Baylor Bears, man it’s strange rooting for the Skins. C’mon RG, I wouldn’t do it for anyone else. Turning into a heckuva game, easily the best of the wildcard week.
This post is bloody suitable to the occasion.
Foie… your QB cost you guys that game… Dalton played like shit. He really really needs to remember this one… and comeback next year. The Bengals are on the way up… Steelers are in rebuild mode and the Brownies are lost lost lost… The Ravens… this is their last stand… Ed Reed can’t hold up another year…
I looked at Ray Lewis’ Wikipedia entry to remind myself what happened with that murder trial, and I found this brilliant pair of sentences:
That field is an embarrassment. If you’re not going to replace pallets with good turf then go with an injury reducing synthetic. Until then, no Super Bowl host for you.
Watching RGIII limp his way through a called run for him, I’m surprised they would even call that play.
They really need to bring in Cousins.
Tell me about it. I was in the Baylor Bookstore in November on a visit. It was really weird seeing a store in Waco, TX filled with Redskins hats and jerseys. Strange seeing the Redskins QB’s face plastered up on dozens of billboards on I-35. Bizarro world.
RGIII is back in…Nooooooooooooo!
And a sack.
ETA: And…serious ouch.
Ooof. That looked bad. I hope he’s ok, but that leg went in two different directions and he dropped like a rock.
ETA: Good to see him walking off the field on his own.
The decision to keep playing RGIII is one of Shannahan’s worst decisions ever.
Good for him! I like Christians who don’t completely discard Old Testament values.
All the winning teams covered the spreads. I hope no one here bet on Over on any of these games, no game came very close to covering the Overs.

The decision to keep playing RGIII is one of Shannahan’s worst decisions ever.
Seconded. Rolling the dice with the future of your franchise player to win one game - when he’s clearly not helping you win anyway.
When he hobbled towards the sidelines on that run on his second-to-last possession, it was clear that he already shouldn’t have been in there.
But they left him in anyway, and his knee fell apart on that last play, all by itself.
I just couldn’t watch any more after that.
