NFL Playoffs

Please talk me out of thinking that the Houston Texans could actually beat the New England Patriots adding an actual real chance for the Houston Texans to play in their own Super Bowl 51 in Houston.

If that happens then you would have to talk me out of believing the Dallas Cowboys will be the other team.

The tickets are going for around a high $9,000 now what would a rich Texan pay for a ticket them?

Houston has a much better chance of beating New England than, say, Wofford does of beating Nebraska, because the difference between NFL teams is much less than college or HS. Nonetheless, it is not going to happen. They just do not have It.

Nothing if not consistent.

The Cowboys have perhaps the most difficult QB slate ahead of them to defeat if they want to win the Super Bowl. Have to beat Rodgers, Ryan, and most likely Brady. Very iffy, given that the Cowboys have long had a very weak pass defense.

Something like 32 sportswriters picked the Pats to win but I gotta say, even though they are still up, it’s a bit scary.

oh me of little faith

I don’t see what’s so great about Brady. You know what Eli Manning will never do? Match his season interception total in a single playoff game.

Wait, what?

Packers looking good. Perhaps too good. I’m not used first half dominance. They usually start slow and finish strong. Hope this isn’t a reverse.

If only the NFL could have known in advance what day MLK Day falls on…

The combination of Rodgers & Nelson was the main reason I actually finally won fantasy this year. (Yay) He’s picking apart the defense fine even without Jordy.

But hang on, Dallas is playing like they should have earlier in the 1st. It’s about to be an 8 point game…

I can breath again

Another yawner.

Well, that was a nice ending.

That was a great game. Thank you to both the Packers and the Cowboys for showing what a good playoff game is supposed to look like (even if it was field goals at the end).

Yeah, you probably turned over to the live stream of the curling on ESPN3, right?

I am quite happy to have been proven wrong in my prediction for this game. #GoPackGo!!

Ok, then, the Cowboys have not been past the divisional round in 21 years (last time they went to the SB). Sucks to be “america’s team”.

Oh, man! Did we miss curling? I didn’t see it in the schedule…

(Curling night…in America. 8 Eastern, Thursday, NBCSN)

Well, it was a reversal.

Fortunately, the Pack managed to make it a game for the ages.

I forgot to point out that Rodgers will do Rodgers things, and the Packers will win. That throw and catch by Cook to set up the game winning field goal? Insane.
