I have just guarantied a Seahawks victory. I bought a Arturo Fuentes Canones (maduro wrapper of course) as my victory cigar. So heading into Super Bowl weekend let’s focus on the game itself. I’ll throw out a couple of talking points.
A lot of talk in going around Sherman’s arm, Thomas’s shoulder and now Chancellor’s knee. Anyone think those will have a significant impact on the game?
At first glance, the matchup looks almost exactly like last years teams so why should this year be different than the blowout last year? The only things I can think of is the loss of some key players on Seattle D-line and the fact that Brady is not a sulky little bitch like Manning who gave up after 2-0.
The 12th Man was huge in NJ last year so it was virtually a Seahawks home game. Same thing this year?
You’re Pete Carroll. Tell me how you’re going to stop Gronk.
I dislike both teams, but I’m finding myself rooting for the Sea hawks because I like Russell Wilson, and because I want a team built on a strong defense, solid running game, and efficient but not elite QB play to win.
At first I couldn’t decide which team I wanted to lose more. Now I’ve made up my mind; I want the Patriots to lose. So I will reluctantly be rooting for the Seahawks.
At least it wasn’t a Packers-Patriots Super Bowl.
Eli the accurate ape of Utah has since succumbed, so the task fell to Vulcan the Lion – no indication of whether he was experiencing pon farr at the time.
Not sure who to root for here, and neither team is in any home district I’ve ever lived in, so no deciding factor there. Don’t much care for the Patriots (I don’t see any evidence they’re more patriotic than the next guy), but the Seahawks have some gawdoffal ugly uniforms. So, uh…
Seahawks, I guess. Their fans seem the more insane.
