NFL Week 11

I personally think GM can rebound if they practice some forward thinking and pay back their government debt in a sound fashion.

Of course, that may be too much to ask, and I guess this isn’t the thread for it either. If we’re going to be depressed about Detroit in this thread, perhaps we should limit said depression to just the play of the Lions.

I mean, that’s depressing enough, isn’t it?

:stuck_out_tongue:

We’re used to it. Barry gets brought up because, for many of us in our lifetimes, it’s all we have.

Well, that and he was arguably the best ever at his position. Or at least the most electrifying.

I’m also taking the Niners (I’ll have you back in spirit Omni) defense to bring home one for my boys. With 10 days to work on it maybe that offense can finally put some decent drives together too. I don’t know how much following the Niners’ get on the board but they’re offense just needs time together, it’s amazing how many procedural penalties have stalled drives.

Forgot to add: I’m taking the Ravens over Indy, it’s gotta happen eventually right. I’m also taking the Bears over Philly.

Yep, nothing to talk about so far…

Holy moly. With the Viking-Seattle snoozer on broadcast, I went to the Red Zone to catch a little bit of my Cowboys playing. Well, not so much there.

But the early games were crazy. Two OT games, 6 games ending within one score differential and a whole bunch of late-game heroics. What a show today.

How bad is the Lion pass defense? Brady Quinn was 21 /32 304 yds and 4 TDs . His QB rating was 133.1.

Well, thank you, Cleveland Browns. I don’t know if the Lions could almost literally afford another number one pick.

Instead. We get a 2. Maybe a 3.

You stand to have the fourth pick right now. The Bucs, Rams and Browns all have one fewer win. Plus, you might have the tiebreaker over (or under, as it were) the Raiders.

Yep. I know. That’s good. Well…“good”.

Well the Lions took care of Washington and Cleveland. That is better than zero.
It looks like Stafford hurt his shoulder in the last series. Wouldn’t that just be ducky.
The attendance today was N/A.

Kurt Warner got knocked out of the Cardinals-Rams game. These are the times when I wish you could make instant trades in fantasy football - might actually get something for Anquan Boldin that way.

Oh those silly Bengals.

Does anyone remember the last time you saw pass interference get called on a hail mary on pass into the endzone on the last play of the game? I’m an advocate of officials calling the game consistently throughout the game, but it almost never happens in this case. The ball probably wasn’t even catchable by the receiver who was interfered with.

I could be wrong.

The interference was pretty blatant and I’d say the guy had a 50/50 shot of catching it. You have to call it under those circumstances.

Incidentally, it’s about damn time the Texans had a primetime game. That offense is just too good to keep toiling in obscurity.

Wow, every team in the AFCN lost today. Terrible showing by all. Except maybe Baltimore.

Would that they did tell him that; he might be rich tonight! :stuck_out_tongue:

There should be some pretty good wide receivers there at 4.
