NFL Week 12

But I cannot blame just poor old Charlie. Was a bad week for those of rooting for the men in black and gold.

Well, not entirely. UCF beat UAB 49-24 and advanced to the Conference USA championship game.

Congrats, Brownies! I know that had to feel good. Didn’t have you for much in the confidence pool, but I had you!

Forte, crap, how many times can a guy stand getting folded backwards?

SF/NO, another awesome matchup. Can’t imagine SF not being in the big bowl.

You can’t imagine a team that switched quarterbacks in the middle of the season not making the Super Bowl? I can.

Norv Turner collapse alert: Ravens tie the game for OT after having 4th and 29.

I just saw that on the NFL.com gamecenter. Was it as bad as it sounds?

It was a pass to Ray Rice that traveled about 4 yards in the air. The other 25 yards were almost all Rice - a big block from Boldin sprung him for the last 3.

Just saw the replay. Nice tackling, SD.

Why does Joe Buck have a job?

Joe Buck almost diminished the joy I felt the moment my packers won the super bowl. What a twat.

He has pics of Goodell and Selig in bed together.

Justin Tucker (as a Giants’ fan, his name always causes me to do a double-take) is lining up to give Baltimore the win with a 38-yard FG.

And…it’s good.

Aaaaaand the Ravens pull a win out of Turner’s rear.

Cool, the Falcons, Dolphins, 49ers and Ravens separated me from the masses this week. Good on ya! Killer for college too. Thanksgiving weekend fucking rocks.

Both conferences look like 8 teams for 6 slots.

Who’s your 8th AFC team? Only 7 of them are over .500.

A possible trade in the future?

He saw a hole open up?

Nerd-Miami would need to run the table. For that matter, theoretically, it 12 for 6 in the NFC. (IOW-Teams with fewer than 7 loses are still kicking)

If St. Louis could just play a schedule of only NFC West teams they would go 15-0-1.

Yeah, but Miami still has to play home and away against NE and in San Francisco this year - I don’t see them winning any of those. The AFC WCs are going to be Indy and whoever ends up second in the North - Cincy if Roethlisberger doesn’t come back at full strength, Pittsburgh if he does.
