NFL Week 15

Watt was never not hot. Teams have been game planning around him, so he doesn’t see the sacks, but he’s been one of the, if the the most, disruptive defensive player in the run game across the NFL and still a monster at the pass rush.

Foster hasn’t been playing entirely up to form but laying that entirely on his feet is not fair. The offensive line has had some mild issues with rookies and inexperience, and the play calling doesn’t call for enough backside cuts to keep defenses honest against the stretch play. So, call it more 30-40% his fault.

Looking at stats like sacks or YPC alone never really tells the entire story.

Why would you do that GB?

I’m not looking at stats, I’m watching the games.

It’s obvious the NFL MVP this year is Adrian Peterson’s surgeon.

Even so.

The idea that Watt hasn’t been hot consistently throughout is just plain ridiculous by watching the games. Defensive line play isn’t always exciting, but he’s absolutely a beast in the trenches.

Ditto Foster. He mostly doesn’t choose which direction to run (that’s Kubiak mostly). So, if he gets stuffed up the middle, that’s because he’s been asked to run that way. And that’s a matter of play calling to keep the defenses honest by going against the normal direction of the stretch play. Sure, he might have been able to squeeze a couple extra yards here or there, but casting doubt on a rusher with multiple 100 yard games (including 150 yards today) is the sign of a spoiled fan base.

Eric Dickerson and Michael Strahan could see their records fall this year.

Laddie, don’t you think you should rephrase that?

Adrian Peterson is just fucking amazing.

Packers go into Chicago, get a win, and clinch the division title. And Bears’ fans get to bitch about the refs, their O line, their offensive co-ordinator , and injuries. Same old same old.

Seattle’s unis are fugly!

Ridiculous, he is.

Jerry Rice, too.

Gangster-Forgot about Megatron! Good call!

This just in… Russell Wilson is tall enough.

How is Marshawn Lynch not in the MVP discussion? It sounds stupid with the great game Wilson is having but the Seahawks are not a playoff team without Lynch.

I really want to see the Dolphins in the playoffs. I know they won’t get in but . . .

Cad Jnr is a Redskins fan so great day for him. They may be the scariest team to face if they make the playoff but with how dominant they were with Cousins may assure Luck of Rookie of the Year.

Back to the Seahawks. Reality check for me - are they really as dominant they’ve appeared the last two games or are the Cardinals and Bills that bad?

Cad-Cards and Bills suck that bad.

Did Detroit forget that Arizona is horrible?

The Cardinals defense is tired of losing despite being good, so they’re going to win this game themselves.

Hmm? It looks to me like Washington is in the best position to win the NFC East.

The tie-breakers all favor them. Even if Washington does lose again, they would still have a better division record than the Giants and win the tie-breaker. The Giants are the team that can’t afford to lose.

Carmady-If 8-8 wins the NFC East, that makes it the West (either conference)
