I’m not doing any research on the lines, but as a long suffering Bengals fan, I would be remiss if I didn’t share this wonderful ode to the Cleveland Browns (Hey! It’s Christmas-ey!)
Prediction: Bengals beat the Squeelers at home in pursuit of the #2 seed…
This is the part of the season that teams that have it made or I should say are already in the playoffs throttle back and tend to be less aggressive.
Denver didn’t go for the throat Thursday night and the Chargers beat them. It was one of the few games that the Broncos went three straight times of three and out.
New England might go all the way for the next three games though to get the number one seed and home field advantage has already beat Denver once.
Good luck on your hunt for the number two seed, but New England and Denver would have to move over first.
NE has tough road games ahead against Miami and Baltimore, both fighting for their playoff lives and the pats just lost their best offensive weapon for the year, so I really like their chances of dropping one of those two. Yeah, the bengals will have to win out but the steelers are reeling and they face Minnesota and Baltimore at home to close out the season, where they haven’t lost yet this year.
It’s going to be tough but doable. The way the bengals have shifted Andrew whitworth in from lt to lg has made them maulers in the run game, which has yielded great results in addition to helping Andy dalton.
No one watching football this morning? Seahawks defense is handling the Giants just fine, but they can’t get their offense going. And Eli Manning was called for a false start penalty.
Ugh. Watching the Bears/Browns game is painful. Luckily I’m only half watching it because the offensive ineptitude and poor QB play could be fatal if one paid full attention.
I’ll admit I’m not super-clear on the rule here, but it sounds like Manning “pushed his hands forward” to draw the defense offsides. I think I’ve seen false start called on the QB once before this year.
And once again, Jay Cutler looks much better when compared to Jason Campbell.
I’m rooting for the Browns, and if this is a taste of what it is like to be a Brown’s fan, no thanks. How the fuck do you have 17 passing attempts and 8 rushes against the worst team in the NFL against the run?
They just gave up a 95 yard drive with 2 pass interference penalties and a long throw into double coverage that Gibson just whiffs on, letting Alshon Jeffery get a TD. This is not a well played game.
