NFL Week 6

That TD was as close as they can get. Now the Lions have to get a Fg or better in less than 2 minutes.

Lions can’t stop the Niners run game.

And then there was one…undefeated team.

Pretty blatant PI on 4th down.

That checkdown to Morris was really stupid.

Somebody defend Detroit on the last two series’. I dare you.

Especially Stafford. I’m starting to have questions.

I’ll just quote myself:

Damn, I was wrong.

That "blatant P.I."It’s wasn’t. The defender was looking at the ball and has just as much right to it as the offensive player.

Saints coach Sean Payton injured on the sidelines. Graham rolled into him, the coach is on the bench with a knee brace, still calling plays.

Saints up 7-3.

How close to the field are you allowed to have a bench? Go Sean!

HAHAHAHAHA! The Lions lost to the NINERS! They suck!

Well, no, not really, but since you’re always trolling me about the Steelers, who lost against two quality opponents and not an NFC West team, it felt good to get that off my chest.

Anyway, Pittsburgh had their usual close call, but 4-2 is perfectly fine with me. Hopefully Polamalu isn’t going to be out for any amount of time. If he is, at least it’s only the Cardinals next week.

Hey, now, the rest of the NFC West is indeed pathetic, but the 49ers are, actually, for real. Our defense is better than yours, for one thing.

Well there’s something interesting going on in the CLE/OAK game. All season long Colt McCoy has only thrown 3 yard passes, and now to buck that trend they’re determined to make every other play a 30+ yard bomb, it’s just that… they don’t have receivers running those routes. The balls are just landing 20 yards from the closest receiver.

Nope.

They ought to win the division, but the Browns would have a good shot at that division.

Here, let me re-sort that using a more important measure.

It’s Boller time!

The 35 points they gave up in Week 1 skew the numbers. But hey, if that’s your method of measurement, that’s fine with me. It’s just too bad that nobody else measures it that way.

Fuck me, the Tigers lost. u of Michigan lost, now the Lions lost. One crappy weekend.
At least MSU won. But they knocked off the undefeated Michigan team . So that has some suck to it too…
At least the Red Wings are still undefeated. And with the lockout, the Pistons are not stinking up the league.

That’s an interesting perspective.

No, he’s right. Them giving up a lot of points definitely raises the amount of points they’ve given up.

Skewing the numbers? There is no such thing as skewing the numbers with that stat. Either your defense gave it up or they didn’t. And your team did. End of story.

Despite what the NFL measures it by, points win and lose games, not yardage. Sorry, your defense is good, but mine is better.
