So excited about the game tonight! I am rooting for both teams. Boston, because of Tuukka Rask. Carolina, because of Sebastian Aho and Teuvo Teravainen (I am biased in favor of Finns, I admit it). And also for Justin Williams, who is not a Finn, but I like. Glad that McAvoy is not playing tonight.
God I hate the Bruins. So, so very much.
Great game last night, very exciting 3rd period. Both teams were chippy from the start, should be a fun series. With McAvoy back I think it’s going to be a Bruins win in 5.

IMO Sharks are faster and better with the puck but the Blues have this slow, physical game that emphasizes solid fundamentals. Also, I think the Blues tendency to win on the road will overcome the Sharks better-than-average (75%) post-season home record.
TL;DR: I’m inclined to agree with ThisSpaceForRent’s prediction.
Enjoying that it’s an all-new final four this year from last. Not yet sure who I like. Definitely not Boston. Sharks are looking pretty sharp right now.
Aye; the Sharks looked very sharp tonight. Still, the Blues weren’t pushovers. That’s one of the earliest and longest-lasting pull calls I’ve ever seen; it took guts to make the call and lots of grit to hold it together as long as they did. But we all knew the open goal was the end, aye? No real need to play out that last 2:21…
sort of related , does anyone really care about the hockey world championship that is going on now? They only get NHL players from non playoff teams or teams that lose in round 1. And why have it every year?
I prefer the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship (starts 26 December in Czech Republic; mark your calendars!).
Absolutely. This is a great tournament and a way of seeing future NHL stars. It’s very popular on TV in Canada. (Duh)
Once the 'Canes digest their poop sandwich, I hope they do better on Tuesday. I like Justin Williams, and don’t like seeing uneven games and big humiliations.
I like Tuukka Rask a lot, too. I wish both teams could win.

They were a different team at home vs Washington. They’ll stomp Boston in Game 3.
