Come on Blues, I can’t think of a piece of shit as detestable as Marchand who I hope never wins again since Claude Lemieux.
Blues came out strong to start 2nd period; I thought that was a good idea. I like that they turn it way up when there’s under 4 minutes left in the period. Good strategy: prolly wears the other team out a bit for 15 or 16 minutes, then press them hard for the last few.
I can see that the Blues players realized that if no one scores for the rest of the game, they win the Stanley Cup. I can see that a few Bruins have that in their head; I expect that during the break they’ll all have it in their heads.
Wow, 10 minutes left, and it was an east-west game before, but Boston is certainly playing like they know they need two goals. If Binnington keeps them at 0, I’ll be surprised.

With 12 minutes left, I saw the Bruins finally enter “desperation mode”.
But that Blues goal there just sealed the Cup IMO. They’ve dominated since the first score IMO.
