This man could have been a loving father and friend to those who knew him, and have held “extreme” political views simultaneously.
I have been watching Fargo and reading online SD comments with interest about the show. A mysoginstic character named Dodd was recently killed in an episode. Most people seemed to view his death with pleasure. Dodd was a murderer, but most comments pointed to his mysoginy and racism as satisfactory excuses for Dodd’s death. Fargo is of course fiction, but with your post im seeing reality meet fantasy.

There are plenty of people I think better prematurely dead; and given world enough and time — and the guarantee of absolutely no penalty — I would no doubt cheerfully take them out myself. I wouldn’t be pleased about their passing though; it’s unseemly to rejoice in others’ deaths.
