Yep, weather forecast shows no more 117 degree days - we are going to dip down to about 105 by Sunday.
Of course, as a Las Vegas resident, we could tell.
You can feel that nip in the air.
Why there is a city there is beyond me. This also goes for Phoenix.
I guess to each his own.
It was 47 degrees here when I woke up this morning. My mother got up a couple hours before me, and reported it was 39 at her house.
Be sure to bundle up. You don’t want to catch a chill.
What a coincidence! It was 39 here at my house in Las Vegas when I woke up this morning too!
I didn’t realize there was an outside in Vegas.
Ah, Vegas!
I still lovingly recall rollin’ home at 2 in the morning and 102 degrees.
We’re expecting a heatwave in London from the weekend. It might even reach 90F.
Meanwhile in Manhattan it continues to be 0 degrees.
Nearly perfectly horizontal.
We’re in the middle of, by my count, the four hundred thirty seventh torrential downpour of the last two months. I just got a flash flood warning on my phone, which is something I was completely unaware my phone did.
My parents retired to Las Vegas. They came back to my house in the NY / NJ area and were whining about it being cold when it was in the low eighties. My mom actually put the heat and two blankets when it fell to the mid-seventies at night. My husband had the overhead fan on in our bedroom that night because it was sort of humid.
You couldn’t pay me to live there.
Outside is that thing you drive thru to get from your home to work and back.
The days sure are getting short, too.
