Guy I knew used to work at The Embers, an expensive restaurant in LR. The cook was in a bad mood, and when a guy sent his steak back, he threw it across the kitchen. They ended up getting out from under an industrial refrigerator with a mop.
I never send a steak back.
Years ago, I used to Mystery Shop Longhorn. Never had a bad meal, they are dear price wise, but worth it quality wise.
Of course I also fondly remember dining at the Hilltop Steak House, with the Filet meal was $6.95, but that was circa the invention of dirt.
Have you figured out what to do with the extra money yet, or are you just buying Krugerrands?

It’s hot as all get out here in Kansas. I had to work early in the morning, then made a quick trip to see my mom and do anything that needed doing at her house. Other than that I’ve stayed inside.
Air conditioning is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
After 22 years in the midsouth, I’ve accepted that sweat is a way of life. 
My beloved grandmother and grandfather kept their house here like a freezer in the summer. I figure they were entitled to it, after living through the summers in the 30’s, without even a fan. Grandma loved modern appliances, and didn’t pine for the past.
Heat’s fine. Humidity is the reason I don’t leave the mountains in the summer.
