I tried that once and really sucked at it. After about 5 weeks I was cleaning my guns waaaaaay too often. 
Dinner was sausage and fried peppers and onions. It was very yummy.

I picked up a phone message from a head teacher who needed help with a student who didn’t get the grades she wanted through no fault of her own and thus can’t do the programme at our uni that she originally wanted to. I’ve been on hold with our admissions section for nearly an hour…
On the bright side, I’m off on holiday tomorrow so it’s my last day in the office today! Hurrah!

It’s a sunny 75 outside, about as nice as it can get.
Today we go to the college to get the books and update the date on his ID card. His books are super expensive this semester, $750+. I’m glad he has a grant. I need to head upstairs to get cleaned up so we can head out.

Howdy Y’all! I did get productive and clean the kitchen and bathrooms plus do two loads of laundry which is now all put away. Go Me! I foresee some quality cee-mint pond time in my near future. Or a nap. Or both. Tomorrow I shall again be productive as I’m meetin’ a couple other of the retired guys at the church house to mow the back forty. See, I can find ways not to be idle.
I’ve done that, but yesterday afternoon, he left early for a Dr appt. And I did have some stuff to do this morning, but not enough to fill 5 hours. Oh well…

I always have too much stuff to do. This is supposed to be our slow time but it is also contract time for all my vendors so no rest for the weary.
**Butters **- He’s getting around fairly well, altho I have to keep on his case about not lifting or pulling anything heavy. He is in pain and he doesn’t want to take his pain meds because they’re opoids, so they screw up his gut. He’ll see his doc on Monday, and I suggested he ask about alternative pain meds. We shall see.
I finished lunch, and boss-man still isn’t in. Gotta find something else to do…
I am super bored. And I can’t really take lunch or my breaks because circumstances conspired and I’m alone in the office today. I’m just hoping I still get out on time.
