Similar to OPs story, a good story from my former home town.
A guy comes home and finds his girlfriend with his father, both naked. Oh, and they are doing cocaine. Oh, and the father was at that time the mayor of the city. The son would later get elected to the city council, and is still on said council. The father is apparently still married to his wife. Not sure what happened with the girlfriend.
Pretty sure I know. 
Naah, she’s now the city attorney or dog catcher or chief of Parks & Rec.
How is insulting the woman an insult to the guy?
Well, it isn’t, but the entire thread is calling him possibly the stupidest man in the world, and while calling you the stupidest person in the world might not be an insult, the rest of us would probably find it fairly insulting were it applied to us.
If you’ve been watching Netflix’ “Making a Murderer”, you’re probably familiar with this guy - and no, I’m not talking about the two mentally challenged men who were convicted of murder.
All references to him have been removed from his firm’s website, and the firm took down their Facebook page.
Oh, I can’t find the thread but maybe someone else remembers the part of the title and will have better luck.
But there was a guy that posted a “need advice” type question sometime last year.
A guy was a supervisor at his work. He had an affair with an underling. Something happened, I think the girl’s psycho boyfriend found out, so the girl told the boyfriend some sort elaborate lie about being harassed or pressured and filed some sort of harassment complaint against the guy to make it look real. (edit) or maybe it was exortion and they were going to file a complaint unless he forked over some money. There was a money aspect to this trainwreck of a story, IIRC.
The guy was on the brink of losing his job - or maybe he had. IIRC, he had a girlfriend and either lost or was on the brink of losing his girlfriend over this.
And, after all this, he had sexual relations with the young lady again. Maybe more than once.
Anyone else remember this guy?
I’d file my candidacy but I’m not sure about eligibility. It’s alright though. I could pass.
I find that more condemnatory of our educational system that of Mr. Hayes.
Why doesn’t he, after 16 years, know how paleontologists reconstruct dinosaurs? And why doesn’t the first poster to that article know that paleontologists, not archeologists, study the remains of life forms, rather than cultural artifacts?
Mr. Hayes is probably being facetious about mermaids, and just can’t remember how to pronounce “coelacanth”.
