I’m certain I’ve got 2 or 3 in company here, though I seem notice many more Calgarians for some reason. Now that I think about it, perhaps I’m just seeing featherlou’s info many times over.

Another Canadian. From Nunavut. As far as I know, I’m the only doper from this territory. Perhaps the only one from either territory. In fact, I don’t think there’s another doper within 1000 miles of me.

Most of the J-Dopers are originally from elsewhere: TokyoPlayer is from the US as well, I think, but I can’t remember where Hokkaido Brit is from. 
The only Japanese Doper I know of is scr4, but he’s now in America.
There used to be more of us, but a large group, including jovan, Tsubaki, cankerist and lamia, decided not to renew.
My “of the North” stems from my living in Yellowknife. Still not within 1000 miles of you. However, I now live in Maryland, USA -although I am still Canadian.

qwest, there was a poster here whose name I recalled as Nunavut Boy. After you posted this I did a search of the user name, and see from the profile that you may have a former doper within 1000 miles of you if you’re anywhere near Iqaluit since that is where Nunavut Boy indicated he was from.
I’m a New Zealander, currently in Auckland but from Cambridge in the Waikato - I can think of two others I see on here: Calm Kiwi and Icewolf (or something to do with wolves). I’ve lived in Britain, Iran, Holland, Japan and Australia but British by birth, NZ by education and passport.
I thought I remembered someone from Uruguay. Estilicon used to post from Argentina, but he apparently hasn’t posted for a couple of years.
