Kyla is in Bulgaria, even sven is in Cameroon; both are currently Peace Corps Volunteers.
[Me? I’m an expatriate Brit in Silicon Valley, like Bippy the Beardless. Nothing to see here… move along]

I’m from Spain, currently living in Spain. Don’t know any other Dopers from Spain but I kind of feel like waving when I see people from Hispanic countries or Frenchies (we yell at each other a lot but that’s mostly because we’re close - plus they insist in eating the cheese first).
I found a guest from Argentina!
We have to stop keeping our guests in the Pit.
Malay posting from MALAYSIA. As far as I know, I’m the only M’sian here.
Just thought of another Doper based in South America:
False_God is in the US Foreign Service in Lima, Peru.
Aussie here, but I live in Bahrain - been here on and off for about 8 years.
Slovenian here. From Slovenia that is. I belive there is another one somewhere here, but it is mostly lurker as I am.
South coast of England, between Southampton and Portsmouth. I’m aware of a number of other UK dopers, but do not know any of them off-board. (except on other boards they run or may have introduced me to)
Singaporean, in Singapore. AFAIK there are about 4 of us here, although I haven’t seen some post in a while, and some are Whitey transplants.
From my “Ask the Singaporean Guy” thread… Elbows, Aankh, Dangergene, Shijinn.
And there was a Purplycow from M’sia, too…
I am a New Zealander who lives in Melbourne. I very often have to explain that in threads. I find it odd that I am always explaining it in threads where it should make no difference.
Englishman back in England after many years in Ireland.
Just as an update: I was away from the computer when we passed the 50 unique non-USA posters mark and it looks as if we may have the steam to get to 100 and over before much longer. So I’ll delay that summary posting until after 100 unique posters have spoken up.
Thanks so much for the generous participation, gang. I think it’s fair to say that Canada has the lead at this point, but it’s great to see so many other countries represented.
Mention has been made several times of the older thread(s) that attmpted this sort of thing and how at least one of them produced a map. If any of you can locate one of those older threads it may be fun to provide a link in this one so we might compare the August/2006 situation with whatever it was back whenever.
ChaosGod was from Uruguay too, but he hasn´t posted in three years.
Indian, currently in the UAE.
xash is also Indian, currently somewhere in norcal.
I’m in Australia, but I’m an American. I hope to be back home by the end of this year (my husband’s greencard interview is this Friday!!!).
G’day, mate. Another Aussie. Mostly, lurkin’ is my thang.
Another Londoner. I don’t post much, but I’m here lurking most days.
Another Aussie. Whatever happened to Goo, Reprise and Redboss? Anyway, although some of us have moved on, lately it seems like there’s more of us moving in which is good to see.
Another American in Australia here.
I’m French, living in France. Big lurker.
