Not exactly an anniversary. What would you call it?

I did the math, and next week Pop-of-Andrew and I will have been married for over half of his life. (I married a younger man… Mine comes next year…)

He is better than I am about remembering the non official anniversaries (date of our first kiss, etc.) This is a rare opportunity for me to surprise him.

I’ve been calling it DH’s ‘tipping point’ for lack of a better term. I could call it “Mine!!” day & decorate with the seagulls from Finding Nemo, but I’m not entirely happy with that idea.

What would you label this kind of day?

Happy Simulhemivitaversary?
Hemisimulvitaversary?
Vitasimulhemiversary?

Idk which one sounds better or would be more correct.
Congratulations, by the way

Hemivita Simulversary
BAM!

This does have a certain ring to it. And it perfectly captures the obscure nature of the celebration…

Milestone.

If you’ve been married that long, I expect that whatever the event is called, it will include the traditional Airing of Grievances.

More seriously, when I reached that point with my wife (well, the point of knowing her more than half my life, we haven’t quite reached it with time married), I just called it “good start” day. She appreciated that.

Well in Greek it would be a hemi-anniversary. This would be extra appropriate if you husband has a high horsepower Dodge product.
In Latin you would have many choices semisos or dimidietas are my favorites.
No matter what you call it I hope this will be your happiest anniversary yet, at least until next years.
Congratulations!
