The woman who told me about his injuries said she doesn’t think hes homeless. An 86 yr old woman who hes been talking to, she told me he has problems. I wasn’t rude enough to ask what they were. My ex with MS had problems; not homeless, but health problems.
Note: I was Not looking.
P.s. Homeless people hook up all the time. I was in the shelter 7 yrs ago, no I didn’t get with anyone, but those guys have no trouble getting girlfriends.

Maybe a year-ish ago, when I was on the outs with my ex (MS), I had a brief flirtation with a local guy. Nothing happened and I got back with ex. Saw the guy today and told him I permanently broke up with my ex. He said, Then we can get together then.
My very first thought was I have to tell the Dopers cause they said thats the reaction youre supposed to get from a guy.
He would have to be patient though, as I am still crushing on Vest guy. He wears a grey vest, never seen him without it.

Not a new episode, sorry Beck, just extra info. The man who actually wants to be with me(41) is in the shelter. He is working though. He wanted me to hang out with him tomorrow, but I have other things to do than go to downtown Cleveland. Hes easy to talk to.
Vest guy,(51) we have a mutual friend, I asked the guy if he knew him as I didn’t know his name. Mutual said he has a place to live and would talk me up to him. Said hes single, likely cause he has mental problems.
So we’re in a commercial break right now.

My brother has spent a great deal of his life homeless. He is basically always with a woman. (Or was, I dunno what his deal is now, last I knew he was in jail.) I feel bad for the women to a large extent because he uses them. (I only say “to a large extent” because I don’t know most of them at all, some of them might be just as bad or worse to him.)
Update.
Mutual friend had given me Vest’s number and I texted him.
At the next dinner, I was telling this woman I’ve seen on the bus whats going on, and she started conversing with him when he walked by, including me in, she was a great wingwoman. He said, I want to talk to you, he asked how I got his number, I splained. I went to the bus stop, he texts me asking where I am and asking if I wanted to go to the mall. It was too late in the day. Texted for 2 hours and he said he was coming over. He walked, which isn’t an everyday thing as he has health isuues after his accidents.
We stayed up til 7 a.m. talking.
Today he called me asking when I was going to be at dinner.
So, the worker guy is out of the picture.
