How quickly we choose to forget history.

During the FIRST election in Egypt, every new political party was allowed to run their own person, I think there were a dozen or so candidates. None of them received 50% or more of the votes, so they had to have a SECOND election between the two top vote-getters, the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD or MUBARAK CRONY. Hell of a choice, have your mother’s head chopped off or have your own head chopped off. It’s like voting between Hitler and Stalin.

I do think Hussain el’Obama inspired the Arab Spring … although “the most beautiful woman in the whole world”, Hillary Clinton, deserves sainthood for her part in these events.

As for NotfooledbyW, I’m on the record of telling the right to stop supporting coups in Latin America, so the same has to go with Egypt, a coup should not be supported. A quick return to democracy, with the recognition of the rights of the minorities has to be what we should press about to the military in Egypt. Really NfbW, an obtuse guy that on other occasions I would agree with is still an obtuse guy.
