Okay, I’m a total gossip/tabloid slut – I admit it. I have zero explanation for why an otherwise intelligent woman follows this shit – but follow it I do.
Within limits. Ill-defined and completely arbitrary limits, but limits nonetheless.
And one of those limits is drawn this side of Anna Nicole Smith, a very, very sad figure, who – never intelligent – is so totally drug addled at this point as to be horrifying.
And who’s appearing as we speak on Entertainment Tonight/The Insider with videos of her having a C-section.
And her watching the video and commenting, quite incoherently, on it.
I came here to start a thread on this same thing. It’s on every single entertainment news show*. At least Tom and Katie and Brad and Angelina didn’t subject us to videos of the birth. I realize that some people like to video tape births but that should be a private thing, we don’t want to see it. Even if we’re not actually seeing the baby squeeze out of her vagina it’s still not something I care to see. And I can’t stand the reporter’s comments, “she was so brave”, “she was in excriciating pain”, and she was in the “worst pain of her life”. Yeah, well millions of women go through the same thing, perhaps if she didn’t have such a high drug tolerance the epidural would have worked, and she did have another kid before.
If she’s trying to make herself look more sympathetic over her son’s death, it’s not working. She’s just becoming more annoying and looking more like a wasted brain-damaged drug addict.
*Yeah, I watch those shows for the rare occasions when they may actually talk about a movie, TV show or star I actually don’t mind hearing about.
I don’t think she’s doing anything – I think it’s the scuzzy lawyer guy. And I think he got all the money they paid for this. How on earth could you do that to a woman you claim to love?
