If the female insists on holding on to her old identity then she does not get full authority of the new. This lack of full authority is normally viewed as a need to hold onto the old identity harder, when what is needed is to let go and take the authority that one is entitled to.

That preacher should study the Word a bit more IMHO.
God grants authority as He see’s fit. This included authority to demons. If God has placed a demon in authority over you, as it appears to me He has placed a demon in authority over Obama in regards to the presidency, then that demon will rule over that aspect of your life.
Though we are to submit to legit authorities, we are to trust in the Lord, not man, not demon. It is the Lord who will deliver the believer.

I have studied scripture, as anyone who has been here for a while can tell you. I spent 27 years in a tradtional, fundamentalist, Southern Baptist family. My father was ordained a minister in that church and I taught Sunday School for ten years.
Unfortunately, almost none of what you are saying is scriptural. You’re making up theology as you go along and you’re trying to use scripture to rationalize your dislike of the current government. It’s idiotic, it’s shameful, and it’s not what God gave you scripture for and I think in your heart, you know it.
What difference does this make. The truth is what is. Why are you judging me based on my gender? The message is consistent.
Considering that he apparently doesn’t recognize Ecclesiastes and isn’t even aware that the “narrator” of Ecclesiastes is the Preacher in question (he seems to think you meant some present-day preacher), it’s obvious that he doesn’t know the Bible as well as he pretends to. Of course, I’ve told him explicitly in a former thread that his beliefs are about as extrascriptural as you can get, and heretical from pretty much ANY Christian denomination’s standpoint.
“That preacher” is IN the Word. It’s the Preacher, the “narrator” of Ecclesiastes. Which is a book of the Bible that you apparently don’t recognize, as what Eutychus posted is a verse from that book.
