Sua, I agree that a time and location must be agreed upon. Since I’m motoring in from the 'burbs, just about anyplace is relatively OK for me. But once we’ve decided on a venue, driving and mass transit directions would be a plus. That and the availability of parking.

I talked to Mom, and convinced her that I needn’t come down to Bmore for Mother’s Day since I’ll be down the following weekend, so I’m in.
I really think we should try to do it in Chelsea or the meat-packing distric if we’re going to invade the Idiot later.
Mindful of people’s budgets, I won’t suggest a private room at the Old Homestead (even though they have some good veggie dishes for those who chose it). There’s a cute little Belgian restaurant that I can book if we’re 20 strong, but it’s too small if even half the maybe’s show up.
Let me stop by the Cowgirl Hall of Fame this afternoon and see what they can do. They’re pretty cheap, kind of fun, and they have some space.
Oh, and I forgot. How many people actually intend to do the Idiot later? Last time it was about half the group, but the group was huge. If the raiding party for the second half of the evening is smaller, I have another place in mind that makes the Idiot look like High Tea. But we’d have to be <20 people and would have to get there pretty much before 9:30.
I have to say I’m striking out on the private room front. I called a few places just to get an idea of what was available, and they were all booked for that evening.
My two cents is that we do either an all-Brooklyn or all-Manhattan evening, and preferrably with the subsequent bar in walking distance from the restaurant (if in fact we go to a restaurant and then a different bar).
Sua, do you know if the private room at Eamonn Doran’s is available? And a rough idea of how they bill – is it X dollars per person?
