Howdie,
I was Lux Fiat’s friend at the little shin dig we just had. I just wanted to say that I had a fantastic time and many thanks to Manhattan for the free beer. Although we feel like crap for not paying. So, now I’m on this thing. God knows what will happen now. I’m working early tomorrow morning, so I’ll talk to you later.
Trust me, kids (and Billdo in particular) I would have been there if I could. No Donna Reed dress and a bunch of drag queens could hold me back from a Doperfest! However, the $60 in gas and 6 hour car ride alone did.
I’m coming down in May, though. How about a second round?
Manny bought booze? Dammit.
A little persistance goes a long way. Announcing:
“I go on guilt trips a couple of time a year. Mom books them for me.” A custom made Wally .sig!
What a great time. The Teeming Millions are indeed the finest people in the world. 'Cept me, 'cause I’m a big fat deadbeat. I will make restitution; I need only find out how.
“Are you frightened of snakes?”
“Only when they dress like werewolves.”

I’ve been reading this thread since post one, and thought about attending. But the wife got tickets for us, plus my sister and her husband to see James Joyce’s ‘The Dead’ on its closing weekend. (MrsLarson is a big Marni Nixon fan; I don’t get it-she sings just like Natalie Wood and Audrey Hepburn)
I must report the Belasco Theater is a beautiful, yet, uncomfortable place to sleep.
Cats are like Baptists. They raise hell but you’ll never catch them at it.
For those of you still checking out this thread, there is a new thread with the Official NYC SDMB Meeting Minutes.
I had a great time meeting everyone. Enjoy.
