I was thinking I could bring deep fried pickles, but I have to see how well they travel. Might bring pulled pork or brisket instead.
You know how people ask you to save a date because they anticipate sending you an invitation? :smack: Yeah well I forgot that I was asked to save July 21st. The party’s not until 7pm so I’m not sure how I’m going to work this out. I’m going to try and do both but I don’t know for sure. Will update.
Hey I was going to make a brisket in my slow cooker.
I saw a Chuthulu Cake pan at Williams Sonoma of all places. True they didn’t call it that but it was a giant squid emerging out of the earth.
Somebody should bring that cake.
Can I either bring Brownies & Beer or help Grill & Beer?

Do we need a grill? I was going to bring takeout from this place I know. If we need a grill, I can try to bring a grill, it’s portable.

Now somebody needs to bring about a dozen porterhouse steaks. I’d say 2" thick should be good.

We are meeting at my place, in Brooklyn. I have a ‘backyard’ and we will grill there, if have grills. (or I’ll get a grill at target)
Some people will go to a concert that evening at PROSPECT Park, the park in Brooklyn that’s nicer than central park. (made by the same guys) Some believe that it may be their “Last Chance to See” Lou Rawls.
Of coursse only people who have EMAILED ME are coming.

I’ve been informed by my social coordinator that we will be transporting my daughter off to volleyball camp at this time. I was also admonished for not remembering a date she told me back in April. My request for my social coordinator to ‘put it on my calendar’ and her failing to do so, of course, was not an issue. My social coordinator seems to have a knack for giving me information like this when I’m least able to add it to a calendar. She also wonders why, whenever I plan anything, I make sure it goes on both our calendars. Maybe my inability to remember dates and social outings is an early sign of senility.
So, you’re bringing your daughter to the dope fest or you will be unable to attend?
Unable to attend. We’ll be heading upstate that day.
