I don’t think I’m gonna make this one. I’m sick (again), maybe next Thursday I’ll tell all of you about my disgusting ailment.
And I’ll make the pie anyway. If it’s downtown I’ll even bring the kids, so’s everyone can see that I’m not exaggerating when I tell you how smart and sarcastic and teenagery they are.

We all (delphica, DrMatrix, Pucette, Maeglin, vix, Zebra and yours truly) had a very nice time at The Abbey. Afterwards, we all walked over to Maeglin and Pucette’s apartment and met their four cats.
Are you guys getting together this Thursday night (the 8th)? If so, where and when?
This Thursday night we were thinking of rotating to Brooklyn, as the previous two were in Manhattan (the island, not the … nevermind).
Anyway, after further investigation, the Brooklyn bar I was thinking of (the Park Slope Brewery) is not conveniently located near the subway, so I think that’s out. Any other ideas?
It’s not as if we must go to Brooklyn this particular week, so any other suggestions would be good!
Can’t make B’lyn, but I may be able to make it in Manhattan. Anywhere along a subway line is fine with me—I’ll have to leave by 8:00-ish, but will certainly try to be there this time.
Er, I forgot that I was trying to lure everyone into Brooklyn. I can’t make it this week, so if you haven’t settled on a locale, Zebra and delphica, you can disregard my selfish request! 
I have dinner plans on Thursday (in Brooklyn) but I can recommend a ton of bars in the area and could meet up after 10. If it’s in Manhattan, I can’t do it.
I’m all for meeting in Manhattan again this week…especially if it means that Eve can be there! We haven’t met in midtown yet, and that should be convenient for everyone. Any suggestions on a specific place?
Druids, on 10th Ave. between 50th and 51st St. I’ve never been there myself, but I have heard it is excellent. Surprisingly good food, pub atmosphere, and a garden.
I know I picked the last one, but it’s Tuesday afternoon, and Thurs. isn’t getting any farther away…

I vote for Druids for the same reason – I haven’t been there, but it’s Tuesday afternoon. Maeglin, your tone of “voice” with that Thursday isn’t getting any farther away line was so much like my mother … you should be worried about that.
