This Thursday I will be unable to attend the festivities, if any. If someone wants to take the initiave, they can suggest a place.
Also, to have some new people come to these things so if you’re in the NYC area and can make it on a Thursday, just on by. Unfortunately, since we all know the people that regularly show up by this point, we don’t usually advertise our presence at the resturant. If you show up, you can look for a table of 6-8 people and ask if they are the Straight Dope party (or if you are uncomfortable with that, you can ask for the Cecil Adams party). You can also post or e-mail one or more of us, and we’ll look out for you.
Well, if you ever make it to Staten Island you can vist the humble establishment I have the pleasure of working at every Thursday-Monday night!

Let’s meet at the bar starting around 6:30, and after a bunch of people trickle in we’ll get a table.
