Some men undoubtedly do, judging by how many times I’ve seen this in pin-ups and soft pore corn. It doesn’t do anything for me, though.
I suspect it’s because I’ve seen my aunt’s garter belt paraphernalia at their houses. And (apologies to my uncles) I’ve never found my aunts at all sexy.

When I was with someone who was wearing them it was a signal that it would be a fun night; OTOH, it’s like someone putting a gift in a box & then wrapping the box & putting ribbon on it, & then putting it in a protective bag before putting it in a box to mail to me which all is a lot of packaging to go thru to get to what I really want.
