Okay, I think I see what my problem was. I apparently assigned confidence points to every game after spending lots and lots of time deciding how to most efficiently allocate them and then… I freaking forgot to pick which team would win each game. Which is kind of important. So I got a big fat zero for week two. But that’s okay, I will just step it up from here on out.

Mississippi State over LSU in Death Valley.

I consider this a strong possibility based on their play against Auburn and LSU’s weak points.
Between Jordan Jefferson and Les Miles, I think LSU is a threat to lose to anyone, anytime.
LSU is not the powerhouse they’ve been in the past. State has a good defense, but not much offense. I expect a low scoring game decided by a touchdown or less. One lucky break could be all it takes to put the Bullydogs over the top…

South Carolina over Auburn at Auburn.
Think that game will be a defining moment for the Gamecocks. Auburn’s not great, but they’re pretty good this year. Beating them at home would be a major accomplishment for the real USC…

I had amongst the fewest misses this week ,but got toasted by putting too many points on Minn. Purdue and Texas. Who would figure Northern Illinois and Toledo would beat a big ten team?

LOL. Yes, given my official upset special for last week kept my unblemished streak of fail alive, I shoulda just stayed with State over Georgia. I’ll get the picks made when I get home this evening, and post an upset special, hopefully by 6:00 PM Central tonight.
Bama at home against Florida is huge for both teams. The winner is probably a lock for the SEC Championship game and then the less important BCS Championship. I think Bama is the better team, but that game will not be the upset special this week…I suspect Bama at home is the favorite.
