Oak's College Pick'em

Ya know, I don’t think that’s all that much of an upset - I already picked it. (Didn’t give it many confidence points, though). Tenn doesn’t look that bad, but Georgia sure does.

After falling completely through their ass at LSU, I can only pray that Dooley can persuade them to take revenge. But I fear we’re watching the exit of Richt these days and that’s a bit sad.

If it matters, I picked UT as well.

Good, I picked UGA. They can at least count to 11. they have to take their shoes off to do it (or their trousers), but they can count to 11.

I’ve heard howls of outrage from LSU fans over Miles just not being capable of managing a clock. He had a similar problem in the Ole Miss game last year. Is Dooley getting much heat for his error? He really killed his team, but most of the press I’ve seen is busy slamming Miles…

Still batting a perfect .000

UGA 41-14.

Who’s doing the color commentary for the Bama-SC game? He’s really on the ball, lots of good info on strategy and technique, good memory (e.g., ‘Last time they were in this formation they did x,’ etc.). There are only one or two NFL guys who are as good as this.

Vern Lundquist was the Play by Play, and I think it was Gary Danielson doing the color.

LSU pulled it out. Good game to watch.

Wow, what a day in the SEC!

UGA finds life a blows out Tennessee

USC upsets BAMA, handily

LSU wins a thriller in the SWAMP. Incredible game

Auburn wins a close game at Kentucky.

LSU/Auburn are the only undefeated teams in the SEC. USC has the inside track to SEC Championship game (until Spurrier blows it). They still have to go down to the Swamp.

It pains me to say it, but the Gamecocks whooped my beloved Tide’s ass. No excuses. No bullshit. The Tide were outplayed.

Well done, South Carolina!

Gracious comment! Do you have a good guess as to where Bama will place in the rankings this week?

Should USCe be ahead of them, you think?

Just to ease the pain, can you believe Les Miles’s luck?

27 games to pick this week. Think the first game is 11:00 AM Saturday, but I may have overlooked something.

And the moment you’ve all been waiting for, my world famous Upset Special:

(18) Wisconsin at home over (1) Ohio State

Judging from my results so far, I’m sure you’d rather not hear that I have that one as one of 8 Underdog picks of mine. The upset I’ll make the most points off of will be Kentucky over South Carolina. I’ll get one less point for Miss State beating Florida.

If you haven’t already turned in your votes, you may want to take mine into account. The only person with a lower total score than mine hasn’t played in three of the six weeks.

I would love to see State beat Florida. Can’t say I expect it, and I didn’t pick State to win, but I’d gladly sacrifice the points for a win. On the upside, both State and Ole Miss have more recent wins over Florida than Ohio State does…

OSU looked bad against Illinois but last week they seemed to shape up a bit. Their offense is clicking.

Down go the Buckeyes
Down go the Huskers
Down go the Gators
Down go the GameCocks

I knew as soon as I would bet against Oak’s upset special, he would finally get one right. Just Kidding Oak. I don’t bet on football.

Auburn scores 65 points?!?!?!?!?!? against an SEC Team?

Michigan State has the inside track to the Big 10 Championship

Two big games next week of undefeated teams.

LSU @ Auburn
Okla @ Mizzou

28 games to pick this week. LSU/Auburn is a huge SEC battle, with major BCS impact. Third Saturday in October also means Alabama/Tennessee. I think this one may be closer than many expect. Lot of tradition there. Should be a good game.

The upset special is…

Navy at home over Notre Dame.

Get those picks in

The upset special is LSU.

That’s the way it should be, but it has been screwed up recently. Last two years, it was played on Oct. 25 and Oct. 24th. And several other time since the SEC expanded to 12 teams.

Tenn vs Bama series

Technically the game is at a neutral site. East Rutherford, New Jersey.

How bad is Notre Dame? Getting creamed by Navy.
