Oak's NFL Fantasy League 2011

Can we get a list of who has what team? Make this a bit less confusing.

I’m the Lorem Ipsums.

Sure, good idea. I’m Flying Megashark. I also missed the draft and its hurting.

Darnassus Druids here.

Chicago 86ers

Cliff’s Clavins

It’s a little known fact that the tan became popular in what is known as the Bronze Age.

I’m still hanging in there against Oilers(IKN), 198.10 to 193.40, but he’s got Eli Manning playing tonight and I’ve got no one left this week, so I’m pretty much toast.

I’m feeling pretty safe, but since I should never underestimate Eli’s ability to throw multiple interceptions, I’m not counting it a victory yet. Plus he could always get injured, you never know. I knew a guy who was up by one point with only his defense left to play. Then his D ended up with -2 points.

I also need 20 points from Manningham in another (non PPR) league, so I have a lot riding Eli tonight.

:smack:And now he’s out. Possibly until after his bye in week 5.

In other news, lots more moves this week. I can’t settle and I think my receivers will become a perpetual revolving door. Also, Yahoo has 3 of the matches projected to be within a point of each other. The projections are total crap, but I think it’s gonna be a fun weekend.

Big week for me. 231.16 fantasy points for the week with Hines Ward as my flex guy playing tonight, despite Michael Turner only scoring 2.00 against Tampa. Wes Welker is a beast…56.60 points. Was kicking myself for benching Schaub, but Sanchez scored slightly more than he did, so I came out well on the decision.

Unless Rex Grossman and Dez Bryant combine for 110 fantasy points + whatever Hines Ward adds tonight, I should get the win, and improve to 2-1 on the year.

Still willing to consider trading Schaub for a good running back if anyone is interested…

Think Dallas Clark can score 119 points tonight?

Ya. Michael Bush? Jonathan Stewart?

Every freaking week I play against the team with the crazy monster game.

Gronkowski and Finley are in a dead heat for best TE on my team, scoring 34.9 and 33.5, respectively. They totally made up for Steve Smith and Burleson totally crapping out.

Welp, it looks like it’s me versus IKN this weekend, for last undefeated spot. Hopefully Hillis will be back in action.

Looks like you’ve got him down by 60 as I type this. Another huge week for Welker…drafting him was the best call I made. Monster week for Graham, too…35.20 fantasy points, second only to Welker’s 35.80 on my team.

Looks like I got my first W. I’m 2 points up with the late games concluding and I have Dallas Clark tomorrow and he has nothing left. My running backs are starting to get me some points.

Well, Gronkowski and Finley did jack for me this week, but Rodgers scored a monster 59 points. I have no players left going into Sunday nights game, up by 46. Meanwhile, IKN’s projected for another 40 points, half from the Baltimore D. So go Jets (except for Dustin Keller)!

3 minutes in, Baltimore recovers a fumble for a TD.

Crap crap crap.

Baltimore’s defense topped their projection in the first 3 minutes.

They’re back under it now. The defense scoring is weird, because it starts at 10 and then goes down as the other team scores points. So I just need the Jets to run up the score (without throwing to Keller) and not turnover the ball.

Also, I’m now rooting for the Jets D until Baltimore gets in field goal range, then I want them to score a touchdown. Fantasy football has completely changed the way I watch games.

I’m not sure I can watch this game anymore.
