I have a bad feeling about this week. We’ve got four players in our division withing one game of each other, and I’m only one top by virtue of being 3-0 in the division. Two big divisional games going on, and I’m out my two best RBs. And my opponent has two players in tonight’s game and Ray Rice on MNF, so I can’t relax until it’s all over.
I’m in a tough game today, too. Projections had us within a fraction of a point, but my receiving corps is without Welker this week due to the bye, Graham has an ankle problem, Harvin has ribs, I think…and Marshall is also nursing some sort of injury.
Antonio Gates has already scored 11 points. And he’s sitting on my bench. Argh
Jesus, Arian Foster already has 33 and I’m up 52-6. I suspect it won’t last.
So, not only did I get beat out for DeMarco Murray in the waivers, but my opponent grabs him and he scores 40 points. Meanwhile, Miles Austin gets only 3 points. I’m up 26 right now, but I’ve only got Pierre Thomas left and I’m going up against Curtis Painter, Marques Colston, and Ray Rice.
Not looking good for me.
I’m down by 80+ at the moment, but I’ve got Brees, Graham, Ingram, Saints D, and Garcon playing tonight, while the Lurkers have Kasay (K) tonite and Walker tomorrow. Gonna be down to the wire…
So this is what it’s like with a comfortable lead. Even if my last two players don’t get any points, my opponent has to average 37 with his last two.
Arian Foster 58 points!? Wow! Is that a season high?
It looks like he’s short by half a point, barring any stat corrections. Rodgers got 58.82 pts on Week 4.
The Saints destruction of the Colts tonight may have saved my bacon. Now I’m up by 21.26, but I’m done for the week, and Lurkers still have Thomas tomorrow…
ETA: Thomas. Thomas. Thomas. I’ve been typing Walker all day. Dunno why.
I’m up 14 with no one left, and I’m going against Rice, who has yet to score less than 20 pts all year.
Not looking good for me.
Wow. 1.6 points from Painter. Negative points from Torain. Just one point from my kicker. And I’m still reasonably confident I’ll sneak out with the win. Just need 70 yards and a TD from Rice.
Holy crap.
I thought my 100 point Bears game last week was lucky. This time Ray Rice gets held to 9.3 pts, giving me a 6 point win.
Couldn’t come at a better time, considering I’m out Rodgers, Hester, and the Bears D next week.
For anyone who needs a tight end, I looking for a RB or maybe a WR for either Finley or Gresham.
I’m facing Cliff’s Clavins this week, with his 1-2 punch of Brady and Rivers. Think we already played once, so he’s likely looking for revenge. The projections have him as the favorite by a little over 4 points…
Even after I pick up a defense and a kicker, it looks like I’ll still be projected around 160 pts, my lowest projection since week 1. Losing Rodgers is a killer for me, but at least I don’t have to go against Forte this week.
Yeah…Week 11 is going to suck for me…no Brees, Graham, Saints D, or Ingram. That’s why I traded Schaub, who also has a bye that week. Ingram is one week away from losing his starting slot for me. Turner has a a bye this week. After that, my RBs are going to be Gore and Turner barring injury or other misadventure. Ingram may see some work as my flex guy, on a week to week basis…
Damn, straight! Cliff wants revenge…
It’s not that Wile E. Coyote wants to eat necessarily or that he wants to eat a roadrunner. What he wants is to eat that particular roadrunner. It’s very existential.
Not looking good for me this week. Ingram is out, Turner has a bye week, so I have to start Brandon Jacobs, who is listed as probable, I think, but likely pissed off his coach with comments to the media. Harvin is iffy with his ribs. Cliff’s Clavins are projected to outscore me by about 15 points…worse, he’s got Sproles, so I almost have to root against a player on my favorite team…
Made a last second roster move, picked up free agent Chris Ivory, because one of the pregame shows said he will get Ingram’s carries this week. Benched Jacobs–just was not comfortable playing him. With my luck, he’ll probably have a 4 TD game while Ivory does nothing. But at least I get to watch my player…
Hey guys, I didn’t just give up this week I had some real life stuff keep me from setting my line up. Not like I was going to win anyway but I don’t want anyone think I am rolling over.
