IIRC, Obama has admitted in the past to being a Steelers fan as a kid, Hawaii not having had a football team. (Sorry, no cite at the moment. :() Though I do believe he is a Bears fan, he still roots for the Steelers as well.

I guess this means that he is also a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns (right up until Crennel got fired), Kansas City Chiefs, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in addition to the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Or maybe he’s just a member of Steeler Nation. Maybe he really has liked them since the '70s when they won three of their five Super Bowl rings.

BTW–Mike Tomlin, the Steelers’ head coach, had a great line IMHO about Obama. “Obama is selling hope. And I’m buying.”
