Okay, this is a stretch, but if anyplace can offer me an answer, it is the SDMB.
Here goes:
There is an industrial band called C-Tec, comprised, I believe, of Jean-Luc De Meyer (from Front242) and a couple of guys from Cubanate.
I have only ever been able to find one album of theirs for sale, called “Darker.” However, I have downloaded an album’s worth of MP3’s from an album supposedly called “Cut,” the release year of which was supposedly 2000. They are fantastic tracks and I’d buy the album in a second if I could find it anywhere, but it’s not even on their website!
Does anyone know if this album is available and where I can buy it?
It’s probably not published in the US. Maybe you can dig it up in some import bin somewhere? I think Amazon UK will sell here, but it’d probably cost a load.
or you could’ve just checked out allmusic.com, say at this url http://allmusic.com/cg/x.dll?p=amg&sql=A333512 and found that it was put out on new york’s very own TVT records, and that it’s old, and that’s it’s more electro. i got it from the radio station i worked at, though i’m pretty sure that it was released in the us. course, i could be wrong, i’ve got 3 or so releases from Deadsy, which, as it turns out, hasn’t released anything yet, to the public, and have played all of two times before the public…
Here is another site you might wanna check out http://www.Isotank.com. Just do a search for C-tec…and they’ll have Cut, i think it’s listed there at 20.99.
