Obstruction to Ejaculation (tmi I'm guessing)

My friend and I are debating the effects of not ejaculating on orgasm for males. He contents that nothing would really happen if you, ahem manually obstruct yourself from ejaculating. I say that it would probably result in an infection of some sort eventually. Anyone with ideas? Thank you in advance.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that tantric sex can involve several orgasms without ejaculating or somehow ejaculating into the bladder!! Am I making this up or have I really read it??? I can’t remember - I’m getting old, apologies.

I am at work so I don’t want to did up cites but you can search for what is called a “retrograde ejaculation”. It is caused by some type of blockage. It usually doesn’t cause much problem but it can and the problems can be very painful.

It is also called coitus saxonicus:

Because of medication, I frequently experience retrograde ejaculation. Basically, I ejaculate into my bladder.

It’s not a problem, since it’s happening because the “valves are open”, so to speak, due to the medication. I suppose that blocking the ejaculation to effect this could injure the “valves” involved.

Retrograde ejaculation, or “dry orgasm” is not harmful to one’s health. It has a multitude of causes, ranging from diseases to medications. It may impair fertility.

Manually blocking ejaculation may give rise to a certain amount of discomfort, however.

Just a slight hijack. Don’t use this as a method of birth control, unless you want children.
The reason is, there can be, and often is, viable sperm in the lubricating fluid produced during intercourse prior to ejaculation.

Probably accounts for all the Saxons running around.

How similar is a vasectomy’s cut and tie to retrograde ejaculation or obstructed ejaculation?

Not really at all. Semen is still produced and ejaculated normally after a vasectomy, but it just contains no sperm (ideally, anyway). This has no significant effect on sperm volume. And the vas deferens, which are cut in the vasectomy, are fairly far removed from the urethra, surgically speaking anyway.

:smack: that should read: “Has no effect on semen volume” :smack:

Not very. With a vasectomy, you still orgasm and ejactulate. But your semen doesn’t contain any sperm. It’s only the sperm supply that is cut off. The supply of lube and sugars and mucous that make up ejaculate are still present and still shoot out.

Shoot out? What are you, a cannon?

1920’s style Death…

Never mind

Yours doesn’t shoot out? Huh.

Depending on exitment, volume, and horniness, I can get quiet abit of distance. However just trying to take off some pressure from the testes the orgasm sucks, or is nonexistant and it just dribbles out.

Umm…

OUCH!

I’d be very curious to see the automatic version of an ejaculation obstructor

Now that could really be “ouch!”

In the book “Tantra: The Art Of Concious Loving” by Charles and Caroline Muir, a whole chapter is devoted to the idea of orgasm without ejaculation. They recommend the practice of starting and stopping the flow during urination as a method to strengthen the pubococcygeal muscle so you can use this as an avenue to stop ejaculation.

The also mention methods that involve pulling, pressing, or squeezing various areas.

They don’t mention the bladder thing. Probably because the squick factor is high enough as it is!
