octopus, out of sheer curiosity I invite you to link me to your opinion on any topic and I will be glad to tell you whether I think you are a nut on my side of the ideological spectrum, or maybe even offer my own opinion. But to answer your stupid question, I’m better than he is at that because unlike members of the professional victim class I don’t see oppression in every other word. I actually live in this country and have interacted with people here and life and language is far more complex than dribble’s capability to understand it.
I’ve talked to my black neighbors where if quoted them here I’d be banned for hate speech lol. In real life, as opposed to fantasy land where a brown bag is racist, language and ideas are far more nuanced and complex than you disingenuous trolls will admit. Economics? Hate the minimum wage. Strongly dislike unions. I like the concept of basic income. I don’t mind need based social programs provided we have the economic productivity.
Immigration? I don’t believe in open borders. I don’t think we should have a disproportionate amount of immigration from one country or region of the world.
Religion? Don’t get me started.
Science? What you want to know?
Personal liberty? That’s a tough one. Used to be far more libertarian but we don’t have the stomach for the consequences of that philosophy. Moving a bit more to nanny state since we are going to be stuck with the bill for poor personal choices.

I assume by “nany state” you mean govt. is basically is in the business of making people into responsible citizens. I don’t think anybody would disagree with that aspect of government except libertarian or religious nuts, I mean we aren’t going to do away with public education any time soon.
But let’s take current events. Is it okay with you that the state can order a general quarantine? Is it okay with you that the state can disperse a riot?

A Nanny state is one in which the government introduces food safety regulations to prevent toxic food from entering the public sphere. Bunch of farkin’ wimps. It’s much better if the public just eats whatever it wants. Because freedom! And this way, the people get stronger. Ingesting toxins will make them more resistant to future toxins, and they will get strong!
However a good state is one in which the government sends troops to gun down protesters who want to Take Away Our Freedoms. Because these protesters are weak, and the Strong Men in government will show them who is boss. This is a good use of government.
That makes sense to me. I think most conservatives will agree that certain jobs are best left to a central regulatory body - nevertheless there are lassaiz-faire nuts out there following in Ayn Rand’s footsteps.
Your reading comprehension is very poor. Dribble calls everything bigotry of some sort. Yes, he’s right some of the time just as a stopped clock is right an instant a day. Yet he’s less right than if one were to flip a coin or consult the stars and look for omens. That takes a special talent.
