Odd Food and Drink Combinations

Very cold diet Coke and Zapp’s Cajun Crawtater Potato Chips. Mmmm. That will wake up your mouth! The Zapps are flavored with crawfish boil seasoning.

I’m down with that. But where is Spamland?

When I was a teenager and worked at McDonald’s, some co-workers turned me on to the delights of a few pickle chips thrown into a small cup of Sprite. Drink the tangy Sprite, then eat the sweet pickles. Mmm.

Crystal Sauce on potato chips.

Jalapeno jelly on Fudge Ripple ice cream.

Doritos Cool Ranch chips dipped in Major Grey’s Mango chutney.

I’ve always been a fan of good chocolate chip cookies (home made are best) and a nice stout.

Chips / fries and garlic mayo or a good tartare sauce.

Mine are not very weird, but I enjoy sugar water with just about anything, but fritos especially. Another good one would be tasty chicken alfredo with a chocolate milkshake.

Pickle juice and Lil’ Debbie cakes always pleases as well.

I never thought it was weird, but my previous girlfriends all declared me disgusting for making my bacon and egg on bagle breakfast sandwichs with rasberry jam. It is the only way to go. Strawberry and grape work ok, but rasberry jam…stunning. Best breakfast sandwich you will ever have.

Also, cheetos (original or flaming hot) are fan-freakin-tastic with maple syrup!

Oh, and Heinz 57 sauce over steamed white rice…oh yeah, thats good stuff.

Fudgey brownies with Prego tomato sauce (though I suppose any kind of tomato sauce would work).
