Off to the rodeo, a delayed MMP

STG, keep us updated, and I hope it doesn’t mean not graduating.
Eyes somewhat less crossed today. Eating toast and staring off into space.

Hi.

Blurf.

Have read, did not retain.

Have lost pronouns. Need to look behind couch…?

Color me clueless. What the hell is Flash?

At least I knew what was going on when Bunz was selling fleas.

Speaking as someone who’s had lung-hacking coworkers before, please go home. No one wants a) to catch that or b) to listen to that all day. It’s extremely distracting when someone’s coughing like that. We had someone here who had bronchitis for something like 6 weeks. I think we all wished they’d have let her work from home.

So the string of sad news just won’t end. The former owner of the company I used to work for died over the weekend. He was in his 80s so not all that surprising, but sad. And really? This string of deaths of people I know could STOP NOW.

Flash class. Y’know the spiffy and shiny animating thing that is so totally overused on the web?

I didn’t know there WAS a class for that. I still think in terms of compilers, CPU architecture, and z transforms.

Ya know BBBobbio a class on Transformers would be jake!

Puggy I know you’re new on the job and all but hackin’ up a lung at work is not a good thing. Surely if they know you have pneumonia they’ll be all go home and get better.

I want cake. There is no cake in da cave. There is, however, cake mix.

Hmmm… sheetcake with chawlkit fudge icin’?

Cake Update

A sheetcake is now bakin’. The shortage of cake in da cave will soon be remedied. I know y’all were worried.

I made brownies last night. Decent new recipe with little peanut butter balls that you push into the batter so each brownie has a little sphere of PB right in the middle. They look pretty darn snazzy and they taste good too. I brought 11 (out of 16) to work; 10 disappeared instantly and I’m hiding one for Boss who likes PB+chocolate.

I also modified the Pioneer Woman’s Cajun Chicken Pasta that **Haze **had mentioned a couple weeks back. I made it a week ago, but it was runny. So I made a roux after cooking the onions and garlic to thicken it up. That worked perfectly. Then I served it with rotini instead of fettuccine 'cause it’s easier to eat that way and the rotinis hold on to the sauce well. I like my version much better than the original.

Tonight’s supposed to be chicken pot pie, but my tummy’s feeling a little ick right now so unless it gets better, dinner’s gonna be leftovers.

We will shortly go pick up FCD’s car from the shop. He needed new tires plus a brake job and new brake fluid. We’re looking at $1600-ish. Stoopit Crossfire. Stoopit sportscar. I swear, I’m going to buy him a nice Accord!!!

I have misplaced a debit card. grrrrrr. Must call and cancel it, knowing full well that I’ll find it as soon as I call. At least it’s an account I don’t use too often. Still, grrrrrrrr.

I’m thinking we’ll have baked N.O.T. soup with the leftover N.O.T. from the weekend. I don’t feel like cooking a real meal. Soup is easy.

I can has weekend??

Cake has been achieved. The world can now rest.

Plz send cake. KTHXBAI!

Brownie with PB bombs recipe, please.

Today went from ok, at least I’m off, to sucksville. Ok, it’s not like I’m sick or dead etc, but the effing List keeps getting longer. And it keeps on raining (on and off) and my hanging planter stand (due to the boggy ground) fell over, and it’s too wet to dig another hole.
I am not happy.

Cake good! “Appreciation” for cake even better.

New tires on the Foomobile today. I’m $300 poorer, but da-yum it rides so much better now.

Yeah, BBBobbio it’s always been my experience that rubber is a smoother ride than steel.

I managed to get through another day, and other than f-tards who can’t even drive the damn speed limit on a perfectly fine day, the day wasn’t too, too horrible.

I’m going to go change clothes and kill myself on the treadmill and then go upstairs to do some weights and crunches. Stupid abs are taking forever to firm up.

Well, if you saw my status on fb you know that my key broke off in my trunk latch. After it happened, I just started cracking up laughing because it was just one. more. thing. I hope that we will be able to get it out of there but if not I don’t think it will be too expensive. There’s a guy down the street that replaced my ignition cylinder and that was under $40 parts and labor. I don’t think that a piece of key being stuck in there would be more expensive, but I don’t know. It would be really funny, however, if I had to have three keys to my car. (He didn’t re-key my ignition key to match my door key and it was a good thing, too, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to drive home tonight.)

The funniest part was when I called my dad to ask him for advice and after I told him what happened, he cracked up laughing too. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ok, I’ve had a bit of ice cream and I’m feeling better. Now I’d better get back to work.

I’ll trade you Gordie for them. Did I mention he broke a window today?

Blackhawks win! dogbutler was last man standing at the bar for the game.

Taters, i just do the speed limit, and the under the limit people are the charter members of TVCTPMO.

Done with my finals and going through post-final let-down. I’m emotionally exhausted. I don’t know if I passed Flash or not. If I was grading I would give me a D. I don’t know what the teacher will do. I’m not going to worry about it right now. If I do fail, well, it’s just one class, and an elective at that.

It feels far later in the week than Tuesday. I have to pack everything up and get moved by Friday, but I’m spending Friday night in the dorms (the Commencement ceremony is Saturday morning.)
