Thanks for the update, Robin. I hope you and Aaron are holding up OK. Please let Dave know I’m thinking of him and hoping for his safety.
What does Sergeant Doors do when he is doing it? What is his AFSC?
Good Luck, Airman. Stay safe.
Best of luck to you, Doors.
I just came back from an 8-month deployment, myself. For the most part, it was pretty dull, tedious, and uneventful (with only just a few exceptions). Here’s hoping yours is just as, if not more, uneventful!
/salute
Stay safe, and thank you!
MsRobyn, let me know if there’s anything you need.
Let us know if you want us to send you anything (reading material, grits, whatever).
From my short experience with military food, I think it would be a good idea to send some Pepto-Bismol.
(Operational Air Force food isn’t nearly as bad as the food at most boot camp squadrons, but still…)
His AFSC is 1A351, which has something to do with broadcasting (I don’t know the exact title). He operates broadcasting equipment from the back of a C-130. So he’s reasonably safe.
I would like to get something together so he and the others in his unit have something nice for the holidays.
Robin
Good idea. Let me know if I can add to it.
Debbie
Good luck to you, Doors, and keep your head down.
makes mental note to pick out a nickel to toss for luck
Here’s the new thread.

Stay safe Airman.
Let’s hope all of you come back soon.
Good luck! And remember: You’ve gotta come in pretty low to land those things.
Good luck, Doors! Don’t do anything I wouldn’t…aw hell, you already are! So make it back in one piece and all that good stuff.
Airman called tonight! He sounded in good spirits, having actually flown.
He’s going to call again tomorrow, when I’m not on my cell phone.
