You need to start preparing yourself now for a Trump win now both emotionally and financially because it is more likely than not at this point. I am an Never-Trumper and voted for Gary Johnson but strange things happen sometimes. I just hope that it doesn’t start riots or other chaos if it does happen.

Stock market futures are already plummeting. It is a good thing I sold all of mine a while ago. Maybe I can get a good deal in a few weeks. On the plus side, Trump wants to be Head of State but not a real President. He can delegate all the important stuff to his VP and Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan who are both fairly competent at governing. You have to try to find the rainbow in the turd sometimes.

Pence already screwed up Indiana pretty well-- not that he got a quality state from Mitch Daniels.

Still too early to panic. Clinton needs to hold in PA, MI and WI and pick up Nevada OR New Hampshire, none of which is currently ruled out. She has not lost yet.

She is currently behind in Michigan, Wisconsin, and New Hampshire… Nevada still not in yet, but I bet Trump takes that too.

We are looking at President Elect Trump later tonight. The alt right has won. I feel a bit sick at this nation.

Back in March, *Slate *had an article “This is How the West Ends”:

Can NATO and the EU survive Donald Trump, French nationalists, and a Brexit?

Author Anne Applebaum describes how, with a then possible Brexit, a then possible Trump victory, and a possible Marine Le Pen victory in France, that “Right now, we are two or three bad elections away from 
the end of NATO, the end of the European Union, and maybe the end of the liberal world order as we know it.”

Some may say that it’s alarmist but it is worrying. Maybe if Trump wins, once he’s faced with actually doing the job, he will moderate somewhat but I’m certainly not confident. The article is worth a read.

I am watching the coverage of the election results and I’m certainly worried.

Don’t forget the Supreme Court. With Congress behind him, Trump will get to replace Scalia with Scalia 2.0 and possibly one or two more before 2020. That will influence the court for the next twenty years.
