Everyone wants to pile on Trump and his supporters – I do too.
But Hillary also fucked up the campaign. She repeatedly failed to address the email question. She thought she could just plod along and beat Trump by letting him beat himself. I admit that I thought she could win that way myself, but I still felt like she wasn’t able to put him away in August and September. She was so evasive. It would have taken nothing more than some fucking PR intern to work with her and have a simple line or two and move past it. She couldn’t do it – she had to use lawyer language. That’s indicative of Hillary’s big flaw as a candidate. Hillary had to do things her way, including setting up her email server the way she did.
Did you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe, that those you are calling uneducated, racist, gun-toting, backward, angry and misogynistic are actually none of those things and are tired of being cast that way? The liberal politicians/liberal commentators/etc constantly insult them, tell them they are too stupid to breathe and that they only think they way they do is because they are racists.
And then those politicians/liberal commentators/etc expect them to support liberals?
Clinton, it seems, is learning that the ‘basket of deplorables’ doesn’t like being called deplorable.
Also note, at this point those you are believe are basically subhuman account for something like 49% of the voters at last count.
Y’all still going on the “racist” line? I’d be willing to bet that Trump overperformed Romney among minorities (have to wait for exit polls). Why can’t you guys just admit that, perhaps, the last 8 years of Obama have been anything other than the rosy picture that many of y’all continue to paint?
I think that’s the story tonight. 49% of America said they’ve had enough of “diversity = strength”, thanks; foreigners are responsible for crime, job loss and terrorism and they’ll vote for any asshole who says so out loud.
