“I thought that was classless”.

Being classless and intimidating someone are not degrees on a spectrum. They are unrelated concepts. If someone said, “I thought that was classless”, would you infer that there was intimidation going on unless the possibility was excluded?

Anyone feel better or worse than they did last night based on anything they’ve seen today?

But laughing and deriding voters while they’re in line is intimidation (IMO), under normal circumstances. It’s only the exceptional around him that keeps it from being that. So yes, I mentioned intimidation because it came to mind, but then specifically said that I wouldn’t call it that because I’m not willing to commit to that statement.

Better. Hillary has made it to election day healthy, that was my biggest “black swan” worry. And Trump has continually drifted all day in the betting market & implicitly in the financial markets. The markets do get things wrong sometimes, but in general I trust the weight of money as an aggregator of information. Trump is down to 14% on Betfair, financial market rally has followed through.

Fair enough, I apologize, I was pointlessly nitpicking. I can’t believe how stressed and nervous I feel right now.

Look, these people laughing were New Yorkers, who have had to put up with The Donald decades before the rest of the country. The deserve the last laugh.

Well if you just want to hear Democrats, why not just watch MSNBC?

I’m feeling good, but it’s been a couple of days in the making.

I really think this is not good thinking. The financial markets aren’t all only focussed on the election - they’re also busy realizing they got fooled by bullshit promises of an OPEC agreement. And their whole thing is risk and stability; how many elections offer this obvious level of who is the risk and who is stable? Bettors lay money on longshots not necessarily because they think it’ll happen but because the payoff is worth the risk. There’s no reason to think those guys’ opinions are better than direct polls of voters.

That’s six defects. Nicole wins.

Indiana in a minute. We’re almost there.

PredictIt odds have it at Hillary with 322, with ME-2 single EV as a tossup. And NC as close to tossup, but leaning Hillary. FL is close to 80 with bettors, and if FL is called early, then we know that it’s probably over.

I’m dying to hear Florida and Pennsylvania calls. Come on, it’s 7 after the hour already!!!

You have TWO HOURS to wait!

All we get in my county is the tear-off strip on the bottom of the ballot with the ballot number on it. We vote by filling out paper ballots with a pen; then putting the paper ballots in a big metal box.

Goddamn… just hours away.

Got 8 people to the polls today, including one woman who thought she had voted online because of a FB ad. The Bexar County Deputy Commissioner for Elections was there when I took the call and he wrote down her name/number for further investigation.

The longer it takes to call Indiana and Kentucky for Trump, the better. I assume they won’t make any call until after 7 Eastern.

Meh. They can guess. Either way, I think Hillary is getting Florida, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Nevada. [fingers crossed]

Good luck guys!

Do us proud!

Too late for that.
